The Professional Standards Division is under the Administrative Services Bureau and consists of a Lieutenant, a Sergeant and one police officer. This Division is responsible for coordinating all training for Police Department personnel. This Division works with Human Resources to recruit new Department employees, conducts background investigations, and performs Internal Affairs Investigations. The Professional Standards Division investigates allegations of employee misconduct in order to safeguard the reputation of the Department and maintain the public trust.
