Due to drought conditions Erath County Judge Tab Thompson has issued a burn ban for Erath County, Effective immediately until further notice from the Commissioners Court.  Violations of the Court's Order restricting outdoor burning is a Class C Misdemeanor, punishable by a fine not to exceed $500.  If you have any questions contact the office of the County Judge.
